Grupo Medina is a company founded in 1973 specialized in the production, processing and distribution of meat products. We have our own slaughterhouse in Galicia, offering high quality meat at the best price.

For 40 years Cárnicas Medina has been selling its products commercially among Wholesalers, Food-Service companies and Manufactures.

The company headquarters is in Leganes (Madrid), where our facilities have cutting areas, slicing and packaging rooms and refrigerators stocks.

In 2009 Cárnicas Medina acquired the Montellos Slaughterhouse, a leading company in the slaughter and cutting of beef in Galicia. This addition completed the full production process from the selection of the meat at origin to the delivery of the product.

Montellos Montellos slaughterhouse is located in Betanzos, just beside km 567 of N-VI. This unique location allows us to make available the best Galician meat. The factory has been completely renovated, featuring new bigger oreo cameras with last cool technology and a new cutting room near the slaughterhouse ensuring the highest quality.

The production output of our slaughterhouse in Galicia is around 50.000 head of cattle per annum.

In 2016 Elaborados Cárnicos Medina buy the beef division at Martínez Loriente, and the factory at Buñol.

Our Group employs more than 1500 persons that form a highly qualified work team designed to meet our client’s requirements.
